    Cleaver M. Ziemann

    FAIRMONT--Services for Cleaver M. Ziemann, 83, of Le Center, formerly of Fairmont, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church,, Fairmont.

    Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Fairmont.

    Ziemann died Tuesday morning, Dec. 5, 2000, at Central Health Care Center, Le Center. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Olson Funeral Home, Fairmont, and one hour prior to services at the church.

    Cleaver Marvel Phillips was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Wells, daughter of Joe and Loa (Yocum) Phillips. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1935 and attended Mankato Commercial College for one year. She married Leslie Ziemann on April 16, 1939, in Wells. They farmed for 35 years. He died July 1, 1974. She then moved into Fairmont, moved to Country Neighbors Home, Le Center, in 1999, and then to Central Health Care Center, Le Center.

    She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fairmont taught Sunday school, was a member of the Ladies Aid and volunteered in the church office.

    Survivors include; daughter, Violet Towne and husband, John Dolan, of Vancouver, Wash.; son Neal Ziemann and wife, Joan, of Owatonna; and two granddaughters.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

    Leslie H. Ziemann

    Services are pending at the Olson Funeral Home in Fairmont for Leslie H. Ziemann, 60, of Rutland Township.

    Mr. Ziemann died of a heart attack Monday morning at his home.

    Mr. Ziemann was born Sept. 20, 1913 in Rolling Green Township. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1932, married Cleaver Phillips on April 16, 1939, they farmed in Rutland Township until his death.

    He is survived by his wife; one son, Neal of Owatonna; one daughter, Mrs. William Towne of Utica, N. Y.; two brothers Albert, and Elmore, both of Fairmont.
