After we hung up I did have a little emotional confusion and sadness that Jim isn't here to take his calls. A younger brother, Clarence Howard Evanoff, was trying to contact Jim a few months after he died, and he did come out from Charlotte, NC to visit, and we are still in touch. Jim had an older brother, John Wagner, who lives in Wisconsin, and he had been out to California a couple of times to visit Jim, but Jim never mentioned the younger brother. Jim's childhood was not a happy one, and I think a lot of things were too painful to remember or talk about.…’;
