Griffith Sutton; Austin, living in New Jasper; Durban & Curtis, both deceased, & another who died in infancy; the mother of these children died in 1844, age 41 & buried in Shook Cemetery. Wm. remarried Clarica [sic] Mallow, & had 5 children: George, deceased; Henry C. [of this bio.]; Peter & John, died, & Laura, wife of A. J. Boots, of this township. Wm. Long died in 1891, his 2nd wife surviving him about 6 years, dying in 1897; both buried in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, OH. Henry C. Long married Martha Cummings, sister of Hon. J. B. Cummings, 9 Oct 1880; 2 sons, Thomas C. & William H. — he is Methodist & Republican.’;
